What data we process, and why

Orders: name, delivery address, email, phone number, what you have bought and any dedication text. We use the data to deliver the item and follow up the purchase. The legal basis is our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Accounting: order and payment data are kept for as long as the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act requires (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Payment: payment is processed by the payment provider you choose at checkout. We do not have access to your card number.
Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
Enquiries and talk requests: name, email and what you write to us, such as company and preferred date. We use the data to reply to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Use of the website: the e-commerce platform Shopify collects technical data such as IP address, browser and how the website is used, including through cookies. Cookies that are not necessary are only used if you consent.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We only share what is needed with providers who help us run the shop: Shopify (online shop and operations), the payment providers at checkout and Posten/Bring (delivery and tracking notifications). We may also disclose data when required by law.

Transfers outside the EEA

Shopify may process data outside the EEA, including in Canada and the USA. Such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep the data

We keep the data for as long as necessary for the purpose, or for as long as the law requires. Newsletter email addresses are removed from the list when you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, and to request rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, request your data in a portable format (data portability) and withdraw consent. Send your request to np@fxcplatform.com. We reply within one month.

If you believe we process personal data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
