Terms of service

Last updated: 4 October 2026. This English version is a translation provided for information. In case of any discrepancy, the Norwegian version applies.

1. The agreement

The agreement consists of these terms of sale, the information given in the ordering process and any specially agreed terms. In case of conflict, what has been specially agreed takes precedence. For purchases by consumers, the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act, the Cancellation Act and the E-commerce Act apply. These terms do not limit your statutory rights.

If you buy as a company or other business, the Norwegian Sale of Goods Act applies instead of the Consumer Purchases Act, and the Cancellation Act does not apply. Larger orders and purchases on invoice are agreed separately, see the corporate page.

2. The parties

The seller is:

Nobox AS
Org. no. 812 442 562
Emanuels vei 10, 1366 Lysaker, Norway
Email: np@fxcplatform.com

The buyer is the person placing the order.

3. Price

The price stated for an item is the total price you pay, including all taxes and duties. Shipping comes in addition and is shown at checkout before you confirm the purchase. You will not pay anything that was not stated before the purchase.

4. When the agreement is binding

The agreement is binding on both parties once we have received the order. However, the agreement is not binding if there are obvious typing or keying errors in the offer, for example in the price, and you understood or ought to have understood this.

5. Payment

You can pay with the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is processed in encrypted form by the payment provider; we do not have access to your card number.

6. Delivery

The books are signed by hand and shipped with Posten/Bring to addresses in Norway. Shipping costs NOK 60 per book; a book bundle counts as two books. Delivery takes place as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after the order, unless otherwise agreed. Orders received by 15 December are delivered before Christmas. If you would like delivery outside Norway, please contact us before ordering.

7. Risk

The risk for the item passes to you when you, or someone you have designated, have received the item.

8. Personal dedication

If you would like a personal dedication, the author writes it by hand based on the text you provide when ordering. Please check the text before ordering. Books with a personal dedication are not covered by the right of withdrawal, see section 9.

9. Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item, under the Norwegian Cancellation Act. The right of withdrawal does not apply to books with a personal dedication, as they have been clearly personalised (Cancellation Act section 22 (b)). A book that is only signed, without a dedication, has a full right of withdrawal. See Right of withdrawal for how to proceed, and for the withdrawal form.

10. Delay

If we do not deliver at the agreed time, and the delay is not caused by you, you may under the Consumer Purchases Act withhold payment, demand performance, cancel the agreement and/or claim compensation.

11. Defects and complaints

If the item is defective, you must notify us within a reasonable time after you discovered or ought to have discovered the defect. The deadline is never shorter than two months from when you discovered the defect, and a complaint must be made no later than two years after you took over the item. In the event of a defect, you may under the Consumer Purchases Act demand repair or replacement, a price reduction, cancellation and/or compensation. Complaints are sent to np@fxcplatform.com.

12. Personal data

See the privacy policy for how we process personal data.

13. Dispute resolution

Complaints should be directed to us, and we will try to find an amicable solution. If we cannot agree, you can contact the Norwegian Consumer Council for mediation (forbrukerradet.no). If mediation does not succeed, the case can be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget).
