About the book

A real-life political thriller

Forrådt av Norge takes the reader behind the scenes of a story that begins with idealism and international engagement, and develops into a drama about power, loyalty, human rights and responsibility.

Through documents, whistleblower information, public sources and personal encounters, the book follows a trail from boardrooms in Norway to the military junta’s Myanmar. Along the way you meet people who risked everything, among them the democracy activist Ko Jimmy, and a series of decisions that are still debated.

This is not a novel. All events are based on real people, real decisions and publicly documented facts.

With a foreword by Eric Cameron and an afterword by Court of Appeal judge Hanne Sophie Greve. NoBox AS, 2025. ISBN 978-82-692101-2-5. Published with support from the Fritt Ord Foundation. Written in Norwegian.
